Install notes

  1. Download and unzip ambient-city-latest.zip.
  2. Run the .exe — the client needs the .pck file next to it.
  3. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — click More info → Run anyway. The app is not code-signed yet.
  4. The main download comes from GitHub, so Chrome generally won't flag it — if it does, click Keep / Download anyway — then verify the file with the checksum below.
  5. Log in with the same account you use on this website.

Official releases are published at github.com/ambientcity/ambient-city-releases (binaries only — source stays private). The code-signing certificate (which removes the Chrome/SmartScreen warnings) is on the roadmap — until then, the checksum is the integrity guarantee.
